Hiking Ohio Updates 2026

Hi Subscribers,

We hope your 2025 was a great year for you! We appreciate you! This is about a month late but better late than never.

As you probably noticed, we have expanded our blog to include hiking areas that are not located in Ohio. As we travel and hike, we take pictures and research the places we visit. We hope that you enjoy the historical information as much as the information about the hiking trails.

For 2026 we are planning to have a blog every 2 weeks if possible. This should be a good year for our traveling.

We completed the Franklin County Metro Park series that described each metro park and its amenities. There are about 20 Franklin County Metro Parks. It was a fun project.

I started a series on City of Columbus Parks and Nature Preserves. It will take a while because there are 422 parks and 25 nature preserves.

We plan to go on a trip out west this June. My plan is to write a blog about each place we stop at. Some of the highpoints planned are the Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Route 66, and Carlsbad Caverns.

As we move forward with this blog, please share this site with your friends and family. We really enjoy putting the blog together. We would really like to have more readers/subscribers.

Also, please give us input on how we are doing.
